by William

As promised here is the second counterpart to the first article posted: [link]. This is made for MACs, but it can be used for Windows to (as in this tutorial). So without any further ado: how to convert any video to iPad:

Step 1: Download Handbrake
Here is the LINK

Step 2: Install Handbrake
Self Explanatory

Step 3: Configuration

(click for larger image)

1: Source. Select the video you want to convert
2: Destination. Select where you want to save the converted file
3: Preset. Since there is no iPad preset (yet), select the Universal Preset
4: Container. Make sure this is MP4
5: Width. I recommend keeping this at 640 or below
6: Anamorphic. Leave at default (Loose). If video turns out to be stretched (verticaly or horizontally), leave it an None
7: Subtitles. This is useful for hardcoding subtitles
8: Start. Press Start to Finish

Nice and Easy

Thanks for posting the link. I haven't tried iFunia, but from your screenshots it looks easy to use

yeah, handbreak is nice and easy, and is very popular, I can see it on many website, this is benefit from free I think. On the other hand, it is difficult to use for beginner, lack support and weak stability. HandBrake attend technology and ignore user experience. I consider iFunia is better than it, I already gave up HandBrake and used iFunia.
