Well the iPad is coming out soon in a month or so (some predict earlier). I would be mostly using the iPad as an ereader with sometimes watching a movie. The biggest problem with ereaders that use an LCD screen is the eye strain. Therefore I am going to post some solutions to prevent eye strain:
1. Blink, Breathe, and Break. When looking at the computer screen you blink at a lesser rate. This leads to Dry Eye. It is irritating and can lead to permanent damage
2. The 20/20/20 Rule. Every 20 minutes look 20 feet away for 20 seconds to allow your eyes to refocus.
3. Monitor Lighting. Make sure you are in a well lit room. Glare, and low light can really hurt your eyes.
