The announcement of the iPad surprised many people — including photographers. The main aspect of the iPad — its beautiful 9.7 inch screen is the main pro feature. Even though the competitors’ tablets can run Windows 7 (read HPSlate) — the iPad has its AppStore backing it up. And with 150,000 apps and counting Apple will make a dent in the tablet market. Personally, I would not use this device for professional photography as I have my computer+mouse to do the task for the serious editing. But the iPad would be perfect for quick sketches/ideas
