Many types of people are excited by the iPads 9.7 inch screen and 10 hour battery life. Among these people are the gamers. Now I am not saying that there aren’t many good games on the iPhone [I am], but I don’t see how gaming on the iPad can work. There are some Gems like Grand Theft Auto ChinaTown Wars and some good time wasters like Bejeweled and Peggle — but thats pretty much summarizes it. There are no rich gaming experiences, just the occasional time waster. I don’t see how the iPad will change this. Sure the iPad has a better screen, a better processor a better battery life — but that does not change a thing. The games are still interacted in the same way – touch based. And as far as I am concerned touch based games don’t provide an indepth gaming experience.
