iPad’s Initial Demand is Greater then iPhone’s Demand

by William

Despite all its criticisms and hate posted on the Internet, the iPad is in great demand. Greater then the iPhone was at its launch. One must not forget that at iPhone’ launch: A song was written about it and New Yorkers were lining up 4 days in Advance just to get their hands on one. RBC conducted a survey stating that 13% of people have shown interest in buying the base iPad (16GB WIFI for $499), iPhone’s launch interest was just 9%. A full 25 percent of respondents said that they are delaying other Apple purchases as a result. Nine percent have put off buying a MacBook, and 10 percent have put off an iPhone. Pre-orders could start as early as March 1st 2010.With the official release being “late March” — All I can say is that March is going to be a crazy month.
