Well Apple has sold 300,000 iPad 3Gs and HP Slate is dropping Windows 7 and is rumored to move unto a WebOS environment. On iPad related news:

There are video apps (like the ABC Player) that do not support the 3G network (yet):
“You must include a low quality stream of no more than 64 Kbps for your app to resort to when network conditions demand it, along with the higher quality streams you want to deliver to your customers when the network can support it.”
The video apps go higher then 64 kbps and thus are unviewable. When it becomes available, the lower bitrate results in a lower quality. Hopefully the jailbreak will allow someone to patch this up
